Megan Fox Actress Megan FoxI want to apply AP for my daughter without lawyer's help. I didn't apply for her when I applied my 485 and AP but her 485 has been applied and I have the RN. Is it straightforward process. Since I applied for 485 July 2nd can't file electronically and must use old fee?.
Also in the application instructions under intial evidence section it says
An explanation or other evidence showing thecircumstances that warrant issuance of anadvance parole document; or
What does this mean, do I have to write an explanation letter :confused:

Optimistic: EB2 India will be current in November 2006
Pessimistic: EB2 India will slow down due to large number of cases during 2003-2005
Realistic: I dono!

Megan Fox Gets Ready toWe got our EAD cards today.
We had gone for FP on Sept 19th and saw LUDs on Sep 20th on our I-485s. But the EAD cards came without our fingerprints. EAD cards came from the same Service center (Nebraska) where the FP notices came from. So wondering, how they did not include our fingerprints in the EAD card?? I had also checked with FBI helpline two weeks back and verified that the FPs were delivered to USCIS.
Anybody else in similar situation?

How will removing country limits help China, India and ROW.
Has someone done any calculations on visa date movement.
We should have some comparison on this because some of us from China against. I seen many ROW against.
Does it help only Indians or everyone by how much?
I see these calculations bringing Indians, Chinese and ROW together.

1. Does the 240 day rule apply AFTER the expiry of the current H1 OR 240 days from the date you apply for the H extension. I hope its not the latter coz I could have told my employer to apply closer to the expiry instead of 3 months in advance.
2. Will the 240 day rule apply even if I reentered on AP instead of H1B visa.

Megan Fox Transformers 2 starsI have applied for H1B transfer and here is my situation.
H1B expiration date with ex employer was 06/10/2010 and I transferred the H1B to a new employer on 06/01/2010 and the approval came on 08/09/2010. However the approval notice says the validity date is from 08/02/2010 to 08/01/2011. It should have been 06/11/2010 because we filed this transfer before the expiration date.
We sent an inquiry but the officer was saying the application was submitted based on new employment and not continuation of previously approved employment without change with the same employer, so we will not change our decision.
What should I do? I think I was out of status from 06/11 to 08/01. Does anyone have any information?
Do you have I-94 attached to the approval notice?

Hello I recently purchased a Nikon D70 to use for concert photography. I was using a Sony Mavica CD-250 but it wasn't cutting it for the larger shows where no flash could be used. I just did my first show where flash could not be used and the pictures came out so-so. I have 2 lenses a Nikkor AF 28-80mm and a Nikkor AF 70-300mm. I have full access to photo pits in front of the stage and am wondering what the best settings are for the D70 in these conditions to ensure at least some of the photos will come out decent.

Yes. If you have your H1-B approval notice with a start date, say Feb 1, 2008, and I-94 cards with it, then you will automatically be on H1-B from Feb 1, 2008 (assuming that you have valid F-1 status still Jan 31, in this example. OPT is F-1 status).
If your H1-B approval came without I-94 cards, then you need to go out of the country to adjust status.

If we decide to receive the green card in any consulars overseas, can we just go ahead and file the I485 after getting the I140 approval? (without waiting for PD to be current)

My nationality is Indian. Presently i am residing in USA . I have " Advance Payrole Document " . I am planning to travel in this February 2011 from " Atlanta -> Frankfurt -> India(Hyderabad) " and return is in May 2011 from " India(Hyderabad) -> Frankfurt -> Atlanta " in lufthansa airways.
So shall i go for this round trip with a valid " Advance Payrole Document " only ? or i need to have " Air Transit Visa ? If i need Air transit Visa could you please let me know how to apply and what documents i need to submit .
