You may not need to complain to the DOL. just talk on phone with your previous employer (OR Receptionist whoever...) and say that pay me within a week otherwise i'm going to complaint in DOL. Once he get threat of DOL from you, he will call back to you and pay you immediately.
I had same experience and i used above way.

Here is my situation:
I-140 approved and about to file 485.
Employer says he can file only 485 and no EAD for me. But he can file EAD/AP for my wife.
Can I file EAD/AP for me separately on my own? What are the consequences from my employer if I quit after six months of applying 485 (by that time I would've got my EAD/AP)? Can he reject my 140 and/or 485?
Yes It applies to new employer as well.
Here is my timeline
on h1 to US in 2001
filed labor in 2003 approved
Filed i 140 and i485 in 12/2003
Changed job to another employer on 05/2005 using EAD
got married, couldn't file for wife's GC
Applied for h1 through new employer in 2006
Premium processing of H1 approved in 15 days. Got wife here on H4
approved for 3 years for using I 140
PD current as of June 2006, filed for wife's GC who came here on H4
EAD can be canceled anytime by USCIS if underlying petetion i 485 is rejected. Also, if you change job before 180 days and your I 140 is not approved, old employer can withdraw it. Its kind of risky to do AC21 before 180 days from i485 RD.

My EB2 labor was filled (different company) as Software Engineer (Level III)
When you say Level III, are you referring the to the Wage level? My EB3 was under 15-1031.00. Now with the same company, If I have to do EB2, can it be in the same category? The only other relevant category I see is:
15-1032.00 - Computer Software Engineers, Systems Software
Also, my understanding is that when you do the prevailing wage determination, the MS+1 will be lesser than MS+1 or BS+5, but both of them qualify for EB2. Thoughts anyone?

I guess this community is not for willful violators like you. Here we are trying to share information from/for people who follow rules. There are many people (anti-immigration lobbyist and anti-H1b lobby) reading this forum. This will give impression as if this forum is for giving advise to people like you who do not care for the law and will give bad name to IV. I guess you should cough up some money and get advise from a good immigration lawyer. Also, I would suggest a moderator or administrator to look into this matter adn have this thread removed.

My personal story has to do with being out of status as a minor due to the lack of resources that my parents couldn't keep me in status. Yes, my presence in the past violated the immigration law, but it was due to circumstances that were out of my control. And I've taken personal responsiblity to keep my records in accordance of the law ever since I reentered the US.
Your description of my story as "willful" violation is very judgmental and sounds like you feel righteous. But I bet you personally know someone who may have been out of status for one reason or another and I wonder if you are this confrontational and heartless with the person.
If you don't have words of encouragement or constructive feedback, then I suggest that you worry about your own. It doesn't take too much to get out of status given the current immigration system nowadays.

I filed a complaint with senator Gregg's office(NH) after July Visa bulletin reversal. Senator's office send a query to DOS on my behalf. In mid-August I got a letter from senator's office in which he apologized for incapable to do anything regarding July-Visa_bulletin reversal.
However, I found a letter attached from DOS which states that "Due to significant number of visas returned from USCIS to DOS, DOS reinstate original July-Visa-Bulletin # 107".
I just wanted to sahre this information with you because what USCIS said about this matter is exactly opposite.

Am I the only one who thinks it would be sheer genius if Kodak was to license the Canon mount? Imagine if they offered both Nikon and Canon mounts (even better - an interchangeable mount plate so you could have it both ways on one body)!
Surely this is possible. Perhaps Canon is blocking them or it's just not cost-effective?

And Fujifilm too. But I think its a "business decision" somehow, and I don't expect it will happen, when Canon is so dominant, for that market segment concerned. At least not now, not soon. I wish I am wrong.

Ah - glad you found the answer. I was thinking that because ShowDialog is a modal dialog, it may be blocking any operations that are going on in the background. I failed to realize that OpenFileDialog does not have a non-modal Show method which displays the dialog without forcing it to have all of the app's attention.

In my experience, the best Realtor is the the guy who would stick with you, when some unexpected things happen in the deal. Example: One of my friends purchased a home. After every thing was done, they noticed a major repair costing a couple of $1000. When my friend talked to the seller, the seller simply washed their hands off, saying the deal is over. Then my friend contacted the Realtor and explained the situation. And the Realtor took over and got the repair done by the seller with only a nominal payment from the buyer.
If you buy a home worth 300,000 and if the Realtor gives back 0.5% (typical) or even a 1% that amounts to only $1500-$3000. Not really a very big amount considering the cost of the house.

Iam july 2nd filers for I-485, I-765 and I-131 at the Nebraska Service center. Haven't seen any activity yet. called the USCIS last evening and the answer I got is still not in the system. Is there anyone who is still in the same boat? please update!

Some lenders do not lend to H1/EAD. So if the cheapest lender happens to not accept H1/EAD, then you did not get the cheapest rate.
In your case Wells Fargo happened to have the cheapest rate and they were also accepting H1.
I am on the look out for a loan currently. The guy with the cheapest rate (around 4.8%) does not give loans to H1/EAD folks. So I am forced to go with a guy who is accepting H1/EAD, but the rate is 5%.
When you shop around ask for rate quote and that time they won't ask your immigration status. If bank changes the rate based on your immi status, do not go with them.
I bought the house while I was on H1 4 years back (I am still using my H1 and I have an EAD now) and nobody asked me my imm status. I submitted the document at the time of doing paperwork but it did not change my rate. I got the best rate based on my credit from wells fargo.
